George Best Airport Sold

George Best Belfast City Airport has been sold to the ABN AMRO Global Infrastructure Fund for £132.5m (US$234m).
With the sale, previous owner Ferrovial has more than trebled its money in five years, having purchased it for £35 million (US$61m) in 2003.
The airport began commercial operations in 1983 and was renamed after the late football star in 2006.
Passenger figures are expected to reach about 2.7 million this year.
Its two biggest carriers are Flybe and bmi.
