New International Airlines in Iran

The Managing Director of Iran’s State Airports Company, Seyed Ahmad Momeni-Rokh, has announced that three new international airlines will be established in the country by the end of March 2009. He said at a recent press conference that airport renovation was another important programme for the company.
“The facilities at Sanandaj (Kurdestan), Hamedan, Khoy (East Azerbaijan), Tabriz (East Azerbaijan), Brigand (South Khorana), Yazd, Lamar (Fars), Ahvaz (Khuzestan), amongst others, will be renovated by the end of the current year,” he said.
