Coventry Loses Flights

Coventry Airport faces an uncertain future after a High Court judge rejected its appeal against the Government’s decision to block the proposed construction of a new passenger terminal. Airport bosses are now studying the report in detail before making any statements on its future.
Central and Eastern European airline Wizz Air announced suspension of its flights to Coventry ahead of the ruling, but Thomsonfly, the only other scheduled operator, has also now pulled out, operating its last service on November 2.
