Air Southwest Enters the City

UK regional carrier Air Southwest is to launch a new connection from Plymouth and Newquay airports to London City on April 20. The flight, which will operate twice-every-weekday and once-a-day at the weekend, will be flown using a 50-seat Bombardier Dash 8-300 and will be in addition to the company’s existing connection to London/Gatwick.
Richard Gooding OBE, Chief Executive of London City Airport, welcomed the announcement: “Plymouth was the first UK domestic destination ever served from London City in 1987, and it is great to see this resumed.”
