The End of Northwest

Delta Air Lines expects to complete the rebranding of Northwest Airlines at domestic airports in the USA by the end of 2009 following the merger of the two businesses.
Until that process is complete, passengers may still have tickets and flights that identify their carrier as ‘Northwest’, though the merged airline’s check-ins and gates will all operate under the Delta banner, said Delta spokeswoman Caitlin Goodrich.
Delta expects the re-branding process to be complete at airports worldwide in 2010.
