Etihad Appoints Pakistan Manager

Etihad Airways has appointed Amer Khan as the airline’s country manager for Pakistan.
Based in Karachi, Mr Khan will be responsible for managing the Abu Dhabi-based airline’s commercial operations throughout the country.
He joins Etihad Airways from American Airlines, where for the last eight years he served as regional manager for the Middle East and Pakistan.  Before that he worked as a business development manager at South African Airways.
Adrian Parkes, Etihad Airways’ vice president sales, said: “Amer’s extensive commercial experience in the Middle East and Pakistan will be invaluable in his new role.  With a strong background in aviation as well as valuable knowledge gathered from other commercial environments, I’m sure he will prove to be a valuable asset in leading Etihad’s Pakistani team.”
Etihad currently operates 23 flights a week between Abu Dhabi and four Pakistani cities with daily flights to Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore and two services a week to Peshawar.
