Linus Airways Stops Flying

Indonesian carrier Linus Airways has officially stopped operating and has submitted its cessation notice to the Indonesian Directorate-General of Civil Aviation. Airline President, Julius Indra confirmed the temporarily grounding was due to financial reasons and that the company is seeking new investors to help it restart.
Prior to its voluntary closure, Linus flew eight scheduled domestic services using two BAe 146-200s, PK-LNI (c/n E2204) and PK-LNJ (c/n E2210) both leased from Trident Jet Leasing Limited. While continuing to seek additional capital to resume flying, Julius Indra was unable to predict when flights were likely to start again, however, at this stage it plans to retain the two BAe 146s.
