Hochtief wins Wroclaw Contract

It was confirmed on June 3 that Hochtief Polska and Hochtief Construction had been selected to build a new terminal at Wroclaw International airport in Poland. Budgeted at approximately €68 million, the project is due to be completed by the end of March 2011 in time for the Euro 2012 football championships. The building will cover 430,570 sq ft (40,000m2) and will have a capacity of 3.2 mppa. Included in the deal is a new access road system.
The other two joint bidders for the contract were Budimex Dromex and Ferrovial Agroman, and Mostostal Warszawa and Acciona Infraestructuras.
