Suvarnabhumi And Munich Are ‘Sisters’

The international hubs of Bangkok and Munich have signed an agreement to expand co-operation between them. Munich Airport CEO Dr Michael Kerkloh (right) and the head of Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, Serirat Prasutanond (left) attended the official ceremony to finalize their Sister Airport Agreement (SAA). The new partnership will further enhance the long-standing close co-operation between the two airports. Munich played a key role in the successful launch of operations of the new Bangkok Airport in 2006. The SAA now lays the groundwork to further extend collaboration on technology, airport operations and media relations. The partners also hope that it will help increase air services between Munich and Bangkok. (MUC)
