Eurowings is to phase out its fleet of 18 Bombardier CRJ200s.

January 20: ATW news reports that Eurowings, Lufthansa’s regional subsidiary, is to phase out its fleet of 18 Bombardier CRJ200s and two CRJ700 medium-range airliners from March 28 over the next 12 months.
Under the company’s ‘Climb 2011’ cost-cutting programme, “several hundred” jobs will also be lost, but the airline is expected to increase its fleet of CRJ900 aircraft from two to 15.
