New Luanda International Terminal Operational

THE NEW passenger terminal at Luanda’s 4 de Fevereiro International Airport in Angola began operations on January 5, 2010. The work to expand and modernise the airport has increased the number of boarding areas, counters and baggage conveyors. Passenger handling capacity has also risen from 400 to 1,000 per hour, increasing annual movement from 1.2 million people to 3.6 million. The cost of the renovation was $153 million.
