Slovenia’s flag carrier Adria Airways has taken delivery of its first new Airbus A319.
May 4: Slovenia’s flag carrier Adria Airways has taken delivery of its first new Airbus A319 at the manufacturer’s facility in Hamburg, Germany.
The new airliner is owned by AerCap, from which Adria Airways is leasing the aircraft. It will be deployed on European scheduled services from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia and its largest city.
Adria Airways has operated Airbus A320s for the last 20 years and this lease is part of a fleet renewal plan, said Tadej Tufek, President and Chief Executive Officer. One more A319 will be leased from AerCap.
