First Boeing 737-NG scrapped

June 21: The first Boeing 737 Next-Generation airframe, a 1999 vintage 737-600 previously operated by FlyGlobespan, is to be scrapped and reduced to parts.
CT Aerospace at Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire is dismantling the aircraft, which has recently been returned off a sub-lease from Midwest Airlines in Egypt. PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Joint Administrators of the FlyGlobespan Group of Companies that folded last December had appointed the IBA Group to manage and exclusively remarket the aircraft.
