Oman Air appoints Chief Officer Management Affairs

OMAN AIR has appointed Abdul Aziz Al Raisi, as Chief Officer, Management Affairs.  Abdul Aziz has been working with Oman Air for more than 26 years.  He started his stint with Oman Air as an engineering trainee at the Engineering and Training Division, and later moved on to become an aircraft engineer.  Rising steadily in his career at the airline, he became Senior Engineer – Hangar Supervisor and then Senior Manager –Base Maintenance.  The position that he served prior to his current posting was as Senior Manager -–Technical Projects.
In his new position, he will continue being involved in all technical projects involving all new aircraft being acquired by Oman Air.  His expanded role highlights the important Omanisation drive at the most senior management level of the organisation.
