WORLD-RENOWNED chef Marcus Samuelsson and food and beverage specialist SSP have opened a new Street Food restaurant at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. The restaurant is the second Street Food in Sweden and offers visitors fresh and wholesome street food from around the world.
“Opening the second Street Food restaurant at the airport is a natural development of the concept,” said Samuelsson. “An airport is the last stop before flying off to experience new and exciting cuisines. Therefore, it’s great to be able to offer passengers the chance to start their culinary voyage at the airport by visiting Street Food.”
Marcus Samuelsson and SSP began their collaboration in 2006 and opened the first Street Food restaurant at Stockholm’s central train station in autumn 2007.
“We realised there was an increasing demand for quality products in the fast-food market and that Street Food could be the ideal response to that demand. And we were right,” said Lars Edengréen, Managing Director of SSP Sweden. “We have continued to develop Street Food and we are thrilled that the time has come for the brand at the airport.”
Street Food is located at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport’s International Terminal 5, gate area 1-10.
