Embraer 190 lost in China

An Embraer 190 operated by Henan Airlines (former Kunpeng Airlines) crashed on landing at Yichun-Lindu Airport in China yesterday with the loss of 42 people on board.
The aircraft, Embraer 190LR B-3130, was operating Flight VD-8387 from Harbin Taiping International Airport to Yichun-Lindu but burst into flames on landing, reports Aviation Safety Network. Including the crew, 96 people were on board, the survivors being taken to local hospitals for treatment to injuries.
It is the first loss of an Embraer 190 and the Brazilian manufacturer has a team of specialists on its way to the crash site to support Chinese authorities in the accident investigation.
