Flybe teams up with Finnair

British low-cost carrier Flybe has announced it has reached agreement with Finnair to provide regional services in Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea region.
From October 31 Flybe will commence services from Helsinki airport to Tampere, Turku and Tallinn with three aircraft. A wider agreement is possible if the venture is a success.
Ville Iho, Finnair’s Senior Vice President of Resources Management said “Flybe is highly suitable as a co-operation partner in our South and Central Finland traffic. The company’s fleet and production structure support the operation of short routes. Expanding our co-operation base will give us flexibility to modify our feeder traffic network according to needs.”
