One of Viking’s tour operating customers, Flight Options, was closely aligned to Kiss Flights. Viking says that it is “financially healthy and is set to continue its normal UK operations”, but that the downsizing will result in some job losses in the UK.
Formed in 2003, last year Viking Airlines reported a net profit of €3.8 million and operates flights out of London Gatwick, Manchester, East Midlands and Bristol in the UK to destinations in Greece, Egypt, the Canary Islands, Corsica, Gambia in West Africa and ski destinations in Europe.
