Munich And Singapore Airports Deal

THE HEADS of Munich Airport and Singapore Airport have formally signed a cooperation agreement to intensify the collaboration between the two major global hubs.  Dr Michael Kerkloh, CEO of Munich Airport and Lee Seow Hiang, the CEO of Changi Airport Group, signed the deal during the 20th ACI World General Assembly, the annual conference of the industry body Airports Council International, which took place in Bermuda in November.
According to a joint statement: “The goal of the co-operation is to learn from one another and continue improving processes for customers by exchanging experiences on a regular basis.”
Among the provisions of the agreement is a management exchange programme to allow executives of the airports to see the processes and structures of the partner operator for themselves. The two airport managers also agreed to meet up again at least once a year in the future in order to to assess progress and coordinate further project stages.
