RUNWAY 2C-20C at Nashville International Airport (BNA) reopened on December 29.  Since September 7, runway 2C-20C and associated taxiway connectors had been closed to allow necessary pavement resurfacing.

This project sustained approximately 25 jobs.  LoJac Enterprise was awarded the contract, which included small, minority and woman-owned disadvantaged business enterprise (SMWBE) partners’ involvement.  The SMWBE subcontractors were SEC Company, WMC Contracting, and Prime Security.
The rehabilitation included concrete joint clean/reseal, full-depth concrete repair, partial-depth concrete repair, concrete spall repair, concrete crack repair, asphalt crack repair and asphalt sealcoat.  In addition, the project provided rubber removal and new pavement marking for the runway.
Runway 2C-20C is constructed of concrete, 8,000 ft (2,438m) in length, 150 ft (45m) in width, with 12.5 ft (38m) wide asphalt shoulders.
