Electric charge points at Heathrow

Heathrow Airport has become one of the first companies to complete the installation of electric vehicle charge points as part of its collaboration with Transport for London (TfL) through the ‘Source London’ programme.
Passengers who own electric cars can now charge their vehicles at short-stay car parks

Source London, recently launched by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has already added 150 new public electric vehicle charging points to the London network, and will deliver 1,300 publicly accessible charge points by 2013.
Allan Gregory, Heathrow’s surface access director, said:  “We are committed to managing our airport sustainably, and so we are delighted to be involved in this initiative.  Heathrow is helping London lead the way in promoting the use of low emission electric vehicles.”
