MD to Leave Airport

After four years at Exeter Airport, UK, Managing Director Jamie Christon is set to leave his post at the end of September 2011.
Mr Christon became MD in January 2009 after joining the airport as Commercial Director.  As well as assisting the airport’s owner Regional and City Airports in appointing his successor, he will spend the next few months ensuring business continuity into 2012 and beyond.
Chairman of Exeter and Devon Airport Limited John Spooner expressed his gratitude to Mr Christon for “leading the airport through what have been difficult times with the airport industry.  His sound management has ensured the airport has remained commercially focussed and delivered growth, especially in the charter market over the last few years.
Mr Christon is leaving to pursue his career within another travel sector.
