Air Berlin to Code Share with BA

AIR BERLIN has strengthened its relationship with British Airways (BA) following the introduction of a new code share agreement.  With effect from July 5, BA customers will be able to buy direct flights on Air Berlin to Munster, Nuremburg and Paderborn, as well as accessing the German carrier’s wider European network.  The code share agreement follows Air Berlin’s entry into the oneworld alliance.
“British Airways is our sponsoring airline within oneworld.  That makes this new agreement a milestone for us as we look forward to the coming year, during which we will be joining the alliance,” said Air Berlin’s CEO Joachim Hunold.  “Thanks to these code share flights, our passengers will now have available to them two further airports, in addition to Gatwick and Stansted, from which they can continue their journey towards other destinations in the UK.”
