Dallas/Fort Worth Renovations

WORK HAS begun on the first phase of a $1.9 billion renovation project that will involve the four original terminals (A, B, C and E) at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas.  Phase 1-B is the first of three phases for Terminal A and involved Gates A9 to A11 and upgrade work on the terminal’s three multi-storey car parks.  Everything is being renewed or refurbished, ranging from check-in, security and retail and refreshment outlets through to major systems such as ventilation/air conditioning, plumbing and electrical.
The three-phase Terminal A part of the project is due to be completed in 2014 with the entire job expected to be finished in 2017.
