ANA’s 787 Rolled Out

The first Boeing 787 Dreamliner that will enter into service with Air Nippon Airways (ANA) was rolled out of the paint hangar on August 6, 2011.  The aircraft bears livery which Boeing claims signifies the “core elements of ANA’s service brand – innovation, uniqueness and the inspiration of Japan.”
The Dreamliner features a short-haul international interior design with business and economy class cabins.
ANA Senior Executive Vice President, and Member of the Board of Directors, Mitsuo Morimoto, said:  “ANA’s passengers will be the first to experience the 787 Dreamliner’s comfortable interior environment.  [They] will enjoy a spacious interior, larger windows, comfortable seats and touch-panel in-flight entertainment screens.”
The aircraft also boasts cleaner cabin air, lower cabin altitude and higher humidity.
The delivery of the 787 is planned for September and ANA will operate its first flight between Tokyo and Hong Kong.
