Air Canada Express

AIR CANADA has rebranded its regional providers as Air Canada Express.  It began with the carrier’s launch of competition against Porter Airlines at Toronto City Centre Airport. This is operated on its behalf by Sky Regional Airlines using five Bombardier Dash 8-Q400s, painted in the full Air Canada 2005 silver-blue colour scheme with Air Canada Express titles. Subsequently all of Air Canada’s partner feeder airlines, including Jazz Aviation, Air Georgian and Central Mountain Air, have started repainting and rebranding the portions of their fleet operated for Air Canada.
Air Alliance is now changing its Beech 1900s to ‘Express’ as new aircraft are delivered, and older ones are due for resprays.
Since June 2011, Jazz has been replacing its older CRJ100s with new Dash-8 Q400s, also wearing Air Canada Express colours, with small Jazz titles on the nose.
