Almost SIN $1 million (US$0.8m) has been awarded to Pteris, who will design, supply, install, test and commission the system.  It will replace its predecessor in Terminal 1, which is expected to be completed by 2013.
CEO Pteris Global, Oon Choong Howe, commented:  “PALS is much sought-after by our customers worldwide and this contract award affirms our capabilities and proven track record in designing and building innovative products and systems for airport baggage handling.”
PALS is already installed in several airports, including Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in the USA, Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport in Canada and Terminal 1 at Dubai International Airport in the UAE.
