Pteris Global Limited has announced that it has been awarded a CNY16.6 million (US$2.6m) contract by Federal Express (China) Limited, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation, to design and build a new parcel sortation system in Beijing Gateway at Beijing Capital International Airport, People’s Republic of China.
The company has previously delivered parcel sortation systems for FedEx at Philippines’ Subic Bay International Airport and Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport in 2001.  Other systems have also been provided for other logistics companies, including DHL, UPS and TNT at various locations.
