easyJet A320 Maintenance

Budget airline easyJet’s Airbus A320 fleet will undergo a series of wing rear spar inspection service bulletins, after a base maintenance agreement was signed between the carrier and Monarch Aircraft Engineering.
Under the terms of the agreement, the fleet has a “dedicated line of maintenance” at its London Luton facility during the 2011/2012 winter.  Monarch Aircraft Engineering’s team will perform the terminating action of SB57-1154R1 and SB57-1155R1.
Ian Bartholomew, Sales & Marketing Director for Monarch Aircraft Engineering, said:  “[We have] already completed in excess of 80 Airbus rear spar inputs over the past 12 months and it is testament to our professional approach to this work that we have been selected by easyJet to continue to support their wing rear spar inspection programme.”
Ian Davies, easyJet’s Head of Engineering and Maintenance, said:  “Monarch’s experience, expertise and impressive turnaround times, coupled with our common location and cost-effective maintenance solution, make them an ideal business partner for easyJet.”
