Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited opened a new lounge at Langkawi International Airport (LGK) in October 2011 – it is the company’s fourth in Malaysia.
The lounge offers buffet-style food, beverages, free Wi-Fi access, international television channels, newspapers, magazines and shower facilities for all passengers, regardless of airline or class of travel.
THE BAR is the first pub and bar to open at LGK. It has a modern design and serves international beers, freshly made pizza and both Western and Malaysian cuisine.
Song Hoi See, Founder and CEO of Plaza, claimed: “We accommodate the needs of leisure travellers as well as families going on vacation.”
Also on offer in the lounge is a meet-and-greet service. Furthermore passengers can make limousine and hotel arrangements from there.
The company has also launched its Annual Lounge Pass, which allows travellers to enjoy five visits to any Plaza lounge in Malaysia (and The Green Market at Singapore Changi Airport) for $99.
New lounges are due to open soon at Kota Kinabalu and Kuching International Airports. Plaza received the Top in Class Award from Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad at its recent Concessionaires’ Conference.
