London Heathrow’s Terminal 3 welcomed a new brasserie restaurant, Oriel, on January 25. The brand is part of Tragus, one of the UK’s largest casual dining groups.
Designed by Afroditi Krassa, the art deco restaurant aims to bring together style, travel and indulgence for the 18.9 million passengers who pass through T3 each year. The restaurant has a cosmopolitan bar and features art work celebrating the golden age of travel.
A full range of breakfasts are on the menu, which has been developed to reflect classic French dishes with a modern twist, and includes Oeufs Royal, Omelette Arnold Bennett and Feuilleté aux légumes.
Chief Executive of Tragus, Graham Turner, said he was thrilled with the opening of the restaurant. “Oriel will offer both business and leisure travellers a fresh all-day dining experience in the international departure lounge and it complements the other brands and recent improvements which the terminal has put in place.”
