Malaysia Airlines’ A380 Progress

MALAYSIAN NATIONAL carrier Malaysia Airlines has confirmed that its maiden Airbus A380 flight from the capital, Kuala Lumpur, to London/Heathrow will now take place on July 1, 2012, a day earlier than originally thought.  Daily services with the aircraft are due to start on August 25.  The company has also confirmed that it has revised the seating configuration for its Superjumbos, reducing the number of seats from 503 down to 487, with eight First Class seats on the Lower Deck, 64 Business Class and 68 Economy Class seats on the Upper Deck.  The remaining 347 Economy seats will be on the Lower Deck.
