Airport lounge operator No.1 Traveller has introduced an à la carte menu in collaboration with British restaurateur Michael Nadra.  The new menu has been launched at lounges in Heathrow’s Terminal 3 and the North and South terminals at Gatwick.
Mr Nadra worked closely with the No.1 product development team to create a choice of “fine dining dishes alongside some home-comfort staples.”  Top-class training has also been provided by the chef.
The seasonal menu has main course dishes ranging from grilled chicken teriyaki with nori seaweed sticky rice and Japanese salad to ‘The No.l Burger’ – 98% lean British beef served in ciabatta with spicy cherry tomato salsa and thick-cut chips – with prices between £6 and £12.  Vegetarian, gluten- and dairy-free meals are also included.
Mr Nadra commented:  “I’m thrilled to be working with No.1 Traveller to develop a new direction for its food.  Airport lounge dining is an area with both huge potential and a customer base that is receptive to new and exciting ways to improve the airport experience.”
