New Lounge at JLA

The UK’s Liverpool John Lennon Airport, owned by Peel Airports, welcomed its new £250,000 ($404,800) ‘Aspire by Servisair’ lounge in April.  It is the first lounge of its kind to be developed outside of London.  All passengers can enter the lounge, either with an advance online booking or by paying at reception.
The 2,680sq ft (249m2) facility features power charging points in its seating areas and can hold up to 97 passengers – twice the capacity of the airport’s previous executive lounge.  A menu of complimentary, freshly prepared hot food, snacks, treats and drinks is offered, as well as free WiFi.
Retail Director for Peel Airports Lucy O’Shaughnessy commented:  “In addition to Servisair’s investment in this facility, the airport has spent a further £300,000 ($485,750) to reconfigure this part of the terminal building to create this space, in order to give passengers more of what they want.”  (Image: JLA)
