Qatar Airways has unveiled its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner at Farnborough International Air Show, UK.

The global debut of the airline’s latest aircraft – one of five to be delivered this year – was welcomed by Qatar Airways’ CEO Akbar Al Baker and Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ new President and CEO Ray Conner.
The Dreamliner also took part in an aerial display, marking the type’s first participation in a flying show.
Mr Al Baker explained that the delivery was part of the airline’s aim to have the youngest and most technically advanced fleet in the industry, adding:  “The 787 will create new benchmarks in comfort and space across both our Business and Economy class cabins and continue to allow us to offer an unrivalled in-flight experience […] to existing passengers and new ones.”
