HMSHost and Portland International Airport (PDX) have celebrated the opening of several new retail locations at the airport, including The Market, The Oregonian News, Rich’s News and Kiehl’s.
The Market, inspired by the healthy lifestyle of Portland, brings “a fresh and natural environment created with vibrant green colour and a backdrop of natural recycled materials”.  The health and wellness offerings include products by Gaiam and fresh salads and sandwiches from the local Elephant’s Delicatessen.
Local news source The Oregonian News will offer travellers on-the-go favourites, from snacks to daily news.  Additionally, Rich’s News – exclusively created by PDX in partnership with 100-year-old Rich’s Cigar Store and Magazines – will allow travellers to buy best-sellers, magazines and local gifts.
Old-world apothecary Kiehl’s offers a new experience in skin and hair care, with a “warm natural limestone entrance, where [passengers] are invited to explore products formulated from nature’s finest ingredients”.
