The new regional Kooddoo Airport has opened today (Sept 10) in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll, with twice-daily 45-minute flights to and from Malé, operated by domestic carrier Maldivian. The new airport opens the remote southern atolls of the Maldives, which feature some of the most dramatic and unexplored reefs in the world.
