New BA Airport Manager

Simon Lea has been appointed as British Airways’ Airport Manager at Leeds Bradford Airport, where the airline is due to start its new Yorkshire operations on December 9.
Mr Lea has worked for BA for 35 years.  His career began at London Gatwick as a load control assistant and he has worked his way through various roles within dispatch and operations control.  Five years ago, he was promoted to Airport Delivery Manager, part of a five-strong team which manages the BA operation
at Manchester.
Simon began his new job at the start of September and is responsible for setting up the operation ahead of its launch.
