Iceland’s flagship carrier Icelandair commenced its twice-weekly service between London’s Gatwick and Reykjavik’s Keflavik Airports today (October 18).
The service, which was first announced in March, will increase in spring 2013 to a frequency of three times a week, allowing passengers the opportunity to connect to onward destinations in North America, such as New York, Boston and Washington.
The flights are operated on a Boeing 757 aircraft from Gatwick’s North Terminal.
