Adelte and Hyundai Rotem Cooperate on Boarding Bridges

The Barcelona-based Adelte Group, an engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of Passenger Boarding Bridges, has signed an industrial and
technological cooperation agreement with Hyundai Rotem, which is part of the Hyundai
Motor Group.

The agreement will allow Adelte to use the Hyundai Rotem factory in Dangjin, situated on the west coast of South Korea, which specialises in manufacturing passenger boarding bridges.  The strategic location of the factory provides direct access to the sea, thereby
enabling the bridges to be transported by ship.

Adelte will manufacture its passenger boarding bridges in South Korea, which will mainly be the Apron Drive type – the same as those recently installed for AENA at the airport in Valencia – and  intended for the European, Middle Eastern, African, Central American and South American airport markets.

The company is currently completing the near-one million Euro expansion of its factory in
Monzón (Huesca), where it will continue to manufacture bridges for other markets.

Adelte says
this agreement forms part of its international expansion strategy.
