
From October 29, SAS Scandinavian Airlines will operate a new direct route from Birmingham to Stockholm. The service will run daily, except Saturdays, using a 120-seater Boeing 737-600 aircraft.
SAS Regional General Manager for the UK, Ireland & Iceland, Hans Dyhrfort, commented: “We are delighted to announce the expansion of our operations from UK’s second largest city – with ten million people living within 60 minutes of the airport, Birmingham is an important area of development for us.”
Flight number SK2553 will depart Stockholm at 11:15 Monday to Friday, arriving at Birmingham at 12:50. On Sundays, the flight will leave at 11:25 and arrive at 13:00.
Flight number SK2554 will depart Birmingham at 13:30 Monday to Friday, arriving at Stockholm at 16:55. On Sundays, the flight will leave at 13:40 and arrive at 17:05.
