Are you an airline pioneering the use of advanced navigational procedures?
If so, you are invited to enter the inaugural Atlantic Award
Air Traffic Management magazine is launching the award category through the ATC Global Excellence Awards event at Amsterdam in March 2013 in an effort to acknowledge excellence in the application of next generation satellite-based navigation technology.
This award is presented in partnership with Atlantic Airways of the Faroe Islands, the first airline in Europe that in 2012 deployed RNP 0.1 procedures, the most precise satellite-assisted Performance-Based Navigation approaches that are being currently deployed in the region.
Entries are invited from those pioneering airspace users (airlines, business jet operators, the general aviation community etc) that have developed and implemented such techniques and through doing so have helped develop the vital operational knowledge that will lead to early equipage of next generation technologies.
The deadline is November 9
