The Servisair lounge at Aberdeen airport has won the Best Airport Lounge category of the Holiday Extras Customers’ Award 2012.

The Aberdeen-based lounge beat competition from the Birmingham and Bristol Servisair lounges as well as the Gatwick No1 and Leeds Bradford Premier lounges.

Shaun Weston, Director Travel Services at Servisair said, “I would like to thank all of the valued customers who took the time to vote for our lounge in Aberdeen in this category of the Holiday Extras award scheme.  It is always nice to be appreciated for the facility and product we work so hard to deliver, furthermore, I believe this cements the healthy relationship we have with Holiday Extras and their followers.  The staff are delighted to
have been recognised and we look forward to continuing to serve all those who
visit in future.”

Matthew Pack, CEO of HolidayExtras.com, said: “Servisair lounges are very popular with our customers and they regularly appear on our Customers’ Awards shortlist and winners roll.  Congratulations to them for consistently delivering outstanding service and improving their products all the time.”

Aberdeen’s Servisair Lounge is one of 21 that that the company has at UK airports. Servisair is currently rolling out a new portfolio of luxury ‘Aspire by Servisair’ Lounges, across the UK and the most recent lounge opened at Birmingham Airport in October.
