UK flag carrier British Airways has added a ‘connoisseur-style’ moustache to its Airbus A319 aircraft. The decoration supports the Movember campaign, in which males around the world grow moustaches throughout November each year to raise both funds and awareness for men’s health.
The aircraft’s new feature was unveiled by BA cabin crew Kyle Patchett, one of several colleagues showing his support for Movember. The airline is encouraging its employees to join in and is hosting a number of road shows around the business to educate them on health issues.
In 2011, men from across the airline grew moustaches to help raise more than £80,000 (US$127,836) for the charity. The campaign was spearheaded by Sir Chairman Martin Broughton.
