AAAE Reorganises

American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) CEO Charles Barclay has announced that he is reorganising AAAE, “to acknowledge the reality of its growth into significant, varied business lines to better serve the association’s members.”
The reorganisation creates two new business lines, AAAE Gov and AAAE Meetings and International, and names full-time presidents to each.  AAAE Gov President Todd Hauptli will publicly assume the role of AAAE’s top government affairs representative and chief policy strategist.  AAAE Meetings and International President Spencer Dickerson will continue his work to broaden the association’s role as a provider of key information and training to the airport industry.
“This seamless reorganisation is made possible by the extraordinary talent throughout AAAE’s senior staff ranks,” Mr Barclay said.  “Dickerson and Hauptli already are operating with significant independence, and this move is designed to enhance and advance that responsibility for these senior leaders and the staff members working for them.”
Mr Barclay remains AAAE’s CEO and the reorganisation will permit him to devote more of his time and attention to the critical areas of innovation, member service, technology, and finance.
