“One of our stated goals for 2013 is to further strengthen airberlin as a network carrier.  [The] Adaptation of our network strategy is an important part of this.  With the new flights from Berlin to Bucharest and Sofia, we are offering our flight guests from Berlin a total of nine destinations in Central and Eastern Europe.  Travellers from Bucharest and Sofia have access to our international route network via Berlin,” said Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, Chief Strategy and Network Planning Officer airberlin.
