New Etihad Lounge at Paris CDG

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has unveiled an US$8 million premium lounge at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
The new lounge, located in Terminal 2, will be available to passenger using
Etihad Airways’ double daily service between the French capital and Abu Dhabi.
Etihad Airways’ Paris lounge will also benefit codeshare partner Air France-KLM’s premium guests booked to travel on Etihad Airways-operated services from Paris to Abu Dhabi.
Etihad says its guest experience is the result of: “significant investment and constant innovation, with inspiration coming from leading hotels and restaurants of the world.”
It says the lounge offers the same levels of style and comfort guests enjoy in Etihad Airways’ award-winning Diamond First and Pearl Business class cabins.
Under the care of distinguished French art curator, Mr Bertrand Epaud, the Paris Lounge will also feature a prestigious collection of original artworks including exquisite glass vases, bottles and fish sculptures by world famous French glass blower Jean-Claude Novaro, three-dimensional plexigraphies of butterflies and skylines by well-established
French artist Jean-Francois Larrieu, and original Arabic artworks by Iraqi calligrapher Hassan Massoudy.
Aubrey Tiedt, Etihad Airways Vice President Guest Services, said: “Knowing that lounges are a fundamental part of today’s travel experience, we have invested a great deal of time ensuring our lounges are distinctive and embrace the warmth and generosity of Etihad premium hospitality.”
French national and experienced sommelier (wine professional), Ms Marie-Pierre Zanusso, will manage the new lounge.  With almost a decade’s experience in international hospitality, Ms Zanusso will lead the lounge’s day-to-day management.
