Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will introduce Boeing 777 operations on its non-stop twice-weekly services from Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) to Islamabad from March 13, 2013.
The aircraft will offer 35 business class seats and 294 economy seats, with all passengers benefitting from increased leg room and wide selection of refreshments and entertainment.
The 777 has been introduced due to high demand from travellers in Bradford and the surrounding Yorkshire region.
Tony Hallwood, Commercial Director at LBIA, commented:  “We have been working closely with the local community and businesses to introduce Boeing 777 operations.”
Each Wednesday and Saturday, the flight departs Leeds at 18:15, arriving in Islamabad at 07:30 the next day.  It then departs Islamabad at 11:30, arriving at LBIA at 16:00.
