Nuance Closes Acquisition of Its Turkish Joint Ventures

The travel retailer Nuance has announced it has acquired the last remaining 18% equity stake of its Turkish joint ventures with Net Holding AS, which operate, among others, the duty free concession at Antalya Airport in Turkey.
Following the conclusion of the acquisition Nuance now owns 100% of the
Roberto Graziani, President & CEO, The Nuance Group, commented: “This acquisition is extremely valuable to us, as we expect Turkey to continue to deliver strong results, ensuring we are well placed to capitalise the significant growth potential of this dynamic market.”
Nuance has a long-standing presence in Turkey, having begun its operations there over 15 years ago.   With presence in Antalya, Kayseri and Zafer, the company operates 31 shops across 4,000 square metres of retail space employing over 700 staff during the high season.
