Moneycorp Becomes Gatwick’s Sole Currency Provider

From April 1, UK company Moneycorp will be the sole foreign exchange provider at London Gatwick Airport, securing its 20-year partnership with the airport for a further five years.
The company plans to double its operations at Gatwick, increasing the number of foreign exchange bureaux in the North and South terminals from nine to 18, and the number of ATMs, which dispense Sterling cash and foreign currency notes, to around 40.
More than 200 staff will manage the expanded network, which will provide services 24/7 to Gatwick’s annual 33 million passengers.
Spencer Sheen, Gatwick’s head of retail, commented:  “Gatwick is delighted to appoint Moneycorp as its sole provider of foreign exchange.  As more than 10% of our passengers use our Bureau de Change units and ATMs, this is a key product category for us.”
